ABOUT THE GUESTWARD GROUP

Thoughtful Guidance for the Work That Matters Most

We partner with churches and ministries to navigate change, clarify direction, and strengthen the people and systems that help your mission move forward.

Why Guestward?

Your church is already taking people somewhere. The question is whether the path is clear—and whether it is leading them closer to Christ.

Guestward describes the posture we believe every church should cultivate: looking outward, paying attention, and learning to see the church through the eyes of someone who has not yet found their place within it.

A thoughtful welcome matters, but it is not the destination.

We help churches consider what happens after someone arrives. Is there a clear path toward connection? Can people find belonging, grow as disciples, discover opportunities to serve, and develop as leaders? When each part of that journey works together, the church becomes better equipped to help people take their next faithful step.

We understand the church because we have served the church.

In addition to decades of research, The Guestward Group brings real ministry experience and practical wisdom to the unique challenges you face.

MEET THE FOUNDER

Stephanie F. Prince, Ph.D.

Founder & Lead Consultant

Stephanie is a ministry strategist, researcher, and church leader with extensive experience in guest experience, connection pathways, volunteer development, membership, baptism, and ministry systems.

Her work is shaped by years of serving within the local church and helping people move from initial engagement toward meaningful participation. She has led large volunteer teams, developed assimilation processes, evaluated ministry effectiveness, and helped leaders translate vision into practical systems.

Stephanie holds a Ph.D. in Christian Leadership. Her doctoral research explored how churches can better engage people who are present but not yet meaningfully connected—a question that continues to influence her work with churches today.

She founded The Guestward Group from a simple conviction: churches are unique entities. They need a thoughtful partner who understands ministry from the inside and can help leaders move forward with clarity.

Stephanie lives in Spring Hill, Tennessee with her husband and daughter. She finds some of her clearest thinking on a hiking trail and believes that thoughtful questions often lead to the most meaningful change.
